See you at the Geographical Association’s Annual Conference!

See you at the Geographical Association’s Annual Conference!

We are delighted to be sponsoring this year's Geographical Association (GA) Annual Conference and Exhibition.

Hosted by the Geographical Association, this event is a fantastic opportunity to network with delegates and exhibitors, whilst gaining knowledge and ideas, and help increase confidence when teaching Geography.

Commenting on our sponsorship is our AS/A Level Geography Subject Officer, Erin Roberts: “The GA has become a key event for the teaching community. Each conference is jam-packed with engaging talks and workshops, covering a variety of thought-provoking topics, which will aid and enhance the teaching of the subject. We look forward to meeting delegates face-to-face and sharing additional support and guidance to deliver our subjects with confidence.”

Working towards an inclusive, diverse key stage 4

Hina Robinson, Rights Respecting School Lead & Diversity Lead, Southend High School for Girls

At key stage 4 we are bound by GCSE specifications, yet we still need to consider learner’s geographies and how they perceive places known and unknown. This session will get teachers to consider how they can adapt their teaching through simple steps. These will include what teachers should be thinking about when planning and language to use in the classroom.
