Psychology teachers - mark like an examiner

As an extension of our Online Exam Review resource, we have launched a new digital resource to assist teachers in assessing mock examination scripts.

Developed by our Psychology Subject Officer, Rachel Dodge, our 'Mark like an examiner' resource consists of a video tutorial voiced by Rachel, sample past papers and mark schemes to guide teachers to accurately mark student scripts.

This resource has been designed to enable teachers to accurately mark mock exams with confidence, and can also be used as a peer marking classroom exercise amongst students.

"With the introduction of our reformed qualifications, I've been contacted by teachers requesting resources that will enable them to mark past exam papers accurately. Working with our Principal Examiners, we have developed an engaging resource, which has already proved extremely popular with centres delivering our specifications and has informed their teaching practices." Rachel Dodge, Psychology Subject Officer.

"This resource has been the missing jigsaw piece for me. I’ve desperately wanted the training for marking for a long time. This is a brilliant game changer for me in that I have so much more confidence assessing and marking." – Eduqas teacher

This resource can be downloaded for free from our Digital Resource website.

Mark like an examiner is currently available for A level Psychology, specifically, Component 1, but we are looking to expand this provision. If you feel that such a resource would be beneficial for your subject, please complete this short feedback form.
