Get involved – call for papers

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the screen industries at every level - from screenwriting and visual effects to marketing, distribution, and audience analytics. As AI reshapes workflows, aesthetics, and roles within film, television, and interactive media, screen educators face urgent questions about how to prepare learners for a rapidly evolving creative and professional landscape.

We invite proposals for papers, panels, workshops, and dialogues that explore the impact and implications of AI across every level of screen education in the UK, from primary to postgraduate. This conference aims to foster meaningful exchange between educators, researchers, and screen professionals, ensuring our curricula and critical frameworks remain dynamic, relevant, and forward-thinking.

We welcome submissions from educators, researchers and practitioners working at all levels - from Level 2 to postgraduate - across further and higher education, screen academies, and vocational training environments.

We particularly encourage collaborative submissions that bridge the gap between education and industry, as well as contributions from underrepresented voices in AI and screen studies.
