School and college responsibility for November series and support services
The Department for Education has published guidance for schools and colleges on their responsibilities for exams. The guidance includes details on who is responsible for entering learners for the exams, learners who are required to continue to study Mathematics and/or English Language, the DFE Exam Support Service including fees, site and invigilator support.
Exams have been timetabled for all Eduqas GCSE and GCE qualifications. In line with Ofqual’s decision, only one non-exam assessment in Art and Design will be required for the November series. This will be a new task set and marked by WJEC Eduqas. Further details will be available on the Art and Design GCSE and GCE subject pages soon.
For the subjects listed below no non-examination assessment will be available in the November series. These qualifications will be assessed only by exam, as detailed in Ofqual’s consultation decision report.
