We're delighted to announce that entries for the Moving Image Awards for 2020 are open. The awards recognises the best WJEC Eduqas film and media students from across the UK and overseas in categories from Short Film/TV Extract to Music Video and more. It has garnered support from teachers and lecturers at a variety of institutions as well as from leading figures within the film industry. We welcome entries from candidates who completed work but were unable to submit NEA for assessment in 2020 due to Covid19.

This exclusive awards ceremony organised by WJEC/Eduqas, in conjunction with the British Film Institute (BFI), will take place online in January 2021 and will feature a range of leading figures from within the film industry.

Rebecca Ellis, Film Studies Subject Officer: "WJEC/Eduqas is keen to recognise and reward the hard work and achievements of candidates after what we appreciate to be a very difficult year. We are excited to see and celebrate the work that students have created, but sadly did not reach us due to circumstances beyond our and their control."
