Eduqas seeks input from employers and industry to shape new qualifications

Could you share your industry expertise to help us develop qualifications that prepare learners for the workplace? 

Eduqas is looking for employers and industry representatives to help review and shape our new Level 2 Foundation Occupational Certificates ahead of first teaching in September 2027 in the following subjects: 

  • Catering & Hospitality 
  • Education and Early Years Practitioner 

As an employer or industry representative, your feedback will help ensure the qualifications reflect current practice, workforce needs and employer expectations.  

We welcome your views on: 

  • Whether the content reflects the knowledge and skills expected of new entrants to your sector 
  • The balance of knowledge, skills and occupational relevance  
  • Whether the qualification supports progression into employment and further training  
  • Emerging trends, challenges and skills needs that should be reflected  
  • Any content gaps or areas needing greater emphasis.
