FREE Training - Discover our new suite of Vocational Qualifications
We are pleased to announce our series of FREE Introductory Training courses to introduce our new suite of Level 1/2 Vocational Qualifications, which will be held in the autumn term.
Free Introductory Training
The 60-minute online training event will be delivered by our subject experts and provide a useful overview of the content and assessment structure of the new qualifications. Following these sessions, attendees will:
- Gain an understanding of the content and assessment structure of the new qualifications
- Understand the benefits for learners in the run-up to options evenings
- Have an opportunity to ask questions and network (virtually) with subject experts and colleagues
- Get information about the support available to help you start planning for teaching

Draft specifications
Our suite of new and refreshed Level 1/2 Vocational Qualifications will be available for first teaching from September 2022. The draft specifications are available to view now:

- Hospitality and Catering
- ICT
- Performing Arts
- Retail Business
- Sport and Coaching Principles
Shortly, we will also be publishing our draft Sample Assessment Materials. Please note, we are also redeveloping our suite of Global Business Communication qualifications in French, German and Spanish. Unfortunately, we are unable to submit these for consideration for the KS4 performance tables due to the current DfE policy of not approving non-GCSE qualifications in EBacc subjects.
