Vocational and Technical Qualifications (VTQs) exam update – Feb/March

The Education Secretary, Gavin Williamson, has sent a letter to Ofqual outlining the process to agree alternative arrangements for exams in 2021.

The letter also included confirmation that it is no longer viable for VTQ external examinations to go ahead in February and March. Therefore, we can confirm that Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Creative and Media (paper code 9751/01) examination scheduled for the 15th March will not progress on that date.

Ofqual will be consulting on alternative arrangements for these qualifications. You can read Ofqual’s response to the Education Secretary here.
