Eduqas is lead sponsor at The Development Wheel’s English and Maths Conference

We are thrilled to be the lead sponsor and deliver a keynote speech at The Development Wheel’s upcoming conference, Beyond Boundaries: Transforming Education for Students in English and Maths.

The conference, which will take place on Friday 15 March, at The Queens Hotel in Leeds, is designed specifically for English and Maths teachers and leaders in Further Education and beyond. The conference will bring together renowned experts, dynamic leaders, and inspirational practitioners to deliver engaging and innovative professional development on English and Maths best practice.

Commenting on this exciting event is Catherine Oldham, our Regional Support Officer: “We are delighted to be working with The Development Wheel to be the headline sponsor for this innovative new conference, which has been tailored specifically for our Further Education colleagues. As a leading awarding body in England, our qualifications have been designed with the needs of our practitioners and learners in mind, including those within the Further Education sector.

Our GCSEs in English and Maths are ideal for those who work within the sector, particularly for resit candidates. For example, we are the only awarding body to offer 2 paper final assessment for our maths qualification. In addition, we offer a comprehensive package of support including direct access to subject specialists and a host of free digital resources to support the delivery of our qualifications including 1 year schemes of work. We also provide free in-college support visits from our subject specialists in the Regional Support Team. I look forward to meeting delegates during the conference and showcasing all that we have to offer.”
