Ian Morgan, Eduqas CEO, to deliver keynote as part of upcoming education conference

We are delighted to announce that our CEO, and current chair of JCQ, Ian Morgan will be delivering a keynote session for Westminster Education Forum’s upcoming online conference.

Commenting on his participation, Ian Morgan, CEO Eduqas: “I am honoured to be delivering a keynote session for this prestigious conference. As head of a leading awarding body, I believe it is extremely important that we have open dialogue and discuss the future of assessments. Reflecting on the summer results provides us with the ideal opportunity to consider new and innovative methods of assessment.

Teaching and learning methodologies continue to evolve, and this should be reflected in our methods of assessment, however, we must also continue to focus on providing fair and equitable assessments that allow learners to showcase what they know and can do.

I look forward to meeting the delegates, and participating in lively and interesting presentations and discussions.”

Ian will be examining the lessons learnt from the 2022 summer examination series and will explore the future of remote assessment.
