Looking for Film and Media inspiration? Here are 5 reasons to attend the Moving Image Awards
The Moving Image Awards, launched in 2014 in collaboration with the British Film Institute (BFI), celebrates the very best moving image productions created by learners studying WJEC and Eduqas Film and Media qualifications across the UK. The event has become a showcase for emerging creative talent and a springboard for learners seeking to stand out in university applications and future careers in the film and media industries.
This year, thanks to a larger venue within BFI Southbank, we're delighted to be able to extend invitations beyond shortlisted candidates and their guests. We now have a limited number of free places available for learners from schools and colleges across England and Wales.
Whether learners are just beginning their journey in Film and Media Studies, developing ideas for their non-exam assessment (NEA), or considering a future career in the creative industries, this is an unmissable opportunity to learn from, and be inspired by, some of the UK's most talented young filmmakers and media creators.
