4.    Free online support sessions for teachers

Eduqas also offers a range of free online support sessions delivered by our experienced Regional Support Team, designed to help teachers at every stage of their journey.

Whether you're considering switching to Eduqas, preparing to deliver a qualification for the first time, or are already teaching with us, these sessions provide practical guidance and opportunities to ask questions.

These sessions will include:

·       ‘Introduction to…’ online sessions

Eduqas offer a free MS Teams session for teachers thinking about switching to Eduqas for their qualification. It includes an overview of the specification, support, resources and training, with opportunities to ask questions.  

·       ‘Thinking about’ online sessions

This session is designed for teachers starting to teach their qualification with Eduqas. It is completely free and delivered on MS Teams, providing an overview of the specification, support, resources and training, with opportunities to ask questions.    

·       Teachmeets

Our Teachmeets sessions are open to all teachers of the relevant Eduqas qualification. They are delivered on MS Teams and include short presentations from Eduqas teachers outlining resources and strategies which have worked well for them in the classroom.  

·       Q & A café 

This event is suitable for existing and prospective teachers of Eduqas qualifications and a great opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with other Eduqas teachers in an informal, online setting.

We’ve made the process of switching to Eduqas as simple as possible, so you can focus on what matters most - supporting your learners to succeed. Here’s how to get started:

1. Complete the form on this page to access your subject’s guide to switching.

2. If your centre is not already registered with Eduqas, ask your Exams Officer to get in touch. Once you’re registered with us, you’ll get access to our Portal.

3. Head to your qualification page. Everything you need to start teaching with Eduqas is here, and you can find key documents including specifications and mark schemes, links to training and resources, contact details for your Subject Officer and much more.

Yes. Eduqas provides a range of teaching and learning resources ahead of first teaching to help centres prepare with confidence. Additional materials, such as past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports, are also made available as qualifications become established, helping teachers feel fully supported from the outset.
